Earlier this year in May, Google announced the GMusic beta at the Google I/O. Last week the cloud based music service just went live. What is Google Music??? Well, it’s something similar iTunes and Amazon Cloud Player. It’s a cloud based online music storage facility that let’s you store, manage, share, download and play your uploaded and bought music from almost anywhere in the world.
As said in my previous article, the need for any business to survive is to invest and expand. Every “static” business dies a slow death following the competition in market as new competitors are born offering the same product or a better and/or cheaper alternative. Google did that this year when it bought Motorola Mobility. It’s now doing the same in the television market. Google TV is Google’s take on the entertainment device that has over four billion users – the television, much higher than those in computers and mobiles.
All those business ethics come to one conclusion, if it’s not profitable, don’t do it. Investment and buying are the key areas that can make a company stay, if not expand, in this competitive world. With rivals creating similar stuff as yours and taking away your market share, if not dominating, things can get on your nerve. Google knows it. That’s why it bought Motorola Mobility.
In 2004, Eric Schmidt, the then chief executive of google said that the company was interested in developing mobile OS but would stay away from “phone(y)” manufacturing business. Staying safe in their pants, they restricted themselves from certain risk. Keeping with their word, google bought Android back in 2005 and raged a war against others making the best mobile OS to date.
Advertisers have said it,”Most of our traffic comes from Google, then comes Facebook.” And so it is. The search engine with millions of daily users will be the top seed for sure but when facebook can try to catch up with Google in this field, why can’t Google go on to take Facebook in theirs. Yes, I mean the social networking one.
Ever since Google started developing it’s open source browser, the Chrome, internet users have been constantly waiting for it’s stable version to come up. Since the beta is a little buggy. Well “little” is an understatement, man, those shock wave plugin fails and sudden deaths coming up with “sorry for the inconvenience” thing made me bang my head. Logging out of yahoo made the idiot download webpages. Sick man!!! Shifting to firefox was a better idea.

I’ve waiting for this to happen for so long now and I believe most of you reading this would also share the same thought – removing crap out of all the Google search result queries. Many a times it’s annoying when you get a page load of queries that make absolutely no sense for what you searched or some particular website showing off every time you search for a given keyword, that pisses you off because it has nothing less than crap filled into it.
Google Maps has various applications developed for Android users. Many are very useful applications that can be used for busy people on the go. Toonz.com reported that Google is providing this application that has hotel search and details about pricing plans to all users in the United States. It is well known that this feature was available with only select users of Google Maps.
